For the past six years, Grange has been committed to being the best at Ease of Doing Business (EODB®) for our agents and policyholders. Each of those years we've taken important steps on our journey to EODB through our partnerships, products, services and technology. In 2005, thanks to great agent partners who've shared in our commitment to EODB, we've reached several milestones. Now we're hitting our stride and elevating Grange to the next level of EODB.

This year we've focused on implementing agent suggestions and made great strides in achieving success for our agents and policyholders. We've offered leading edge technology, responsive service and competitive products. In September, we introduced an Identity Theft Coverage endorsement with additional services that help policyholders restore their credit if they're ever victims of identity theft. We also launched The Academy at Grange, a robust and intensive training program that offers specialized courses in sales, products and time management.

Along with the awards received and innovative products and programs introduced, we're hitting our stride on a path of expansion. We've entered a new market, South Carolina, with our Trustgard brand, and the response from agents has been terrific. Using a new business model and claims process, Trustgard offers competitively priced products and a “super EODB” approach to service by using the best technology in the industry.

In addition to EODB, we're committed to the highest level of corporate governance standards including legislative compliance, continuous disclosure and ethical behavior. By meeting and maintaining those high standards, we're able to create strength, stability and opportunity for our agents and policyholders.

An important part of our business philosophy includes improving the communities in which we operate. This year, the Central Ohio chapter of the Association of Fundraising Professionals presented Grange with the Outstanding Large Corporation Award for the nearly 2,100 hours of community service our associates volunteered for 100 nonprofit organizations.

In 2005, we've traveled far to achieve EODB for our agents and policyholders, and we’ve positioned the company to be more competitive. We’re hitting our stride and looking forward to continued success through EODB in 2006, a great time to partner with Grange.
