Do payments have to be received by the due date or post-marked by the due date?

Late payments may result in the cancellation of your policy. Please contact Grange Life Policyholder Services at (800) 399-3797 if you have questions.

Can I change the date my payment is due?

Your contract issue date determines the date future payments are due and cannot be changed. However, you can change the date that monthly payments are withdrawn from your bank account. Depending on your billing cycle, additional premium may be required to change your withdrawal date.

How can I reinstate my policy if it cancels?

If you policy cancels due to non-payment, you may apply for reinstatement. Please contact Grange Life Policyholder Services at (800) 399-3797 to request a reinstatement application and to determine the amount of premium required.

*All requests for reinstatement must be approved by Underwriting before payment is applied and coverage goes back in force.

When will Easy Pay payments be deducted from my account?

We’ll deduct your payments from your bank account on, and no earlier than, the draft date you select. If you don’t select a specific date, your payment will be deducted on the same day of the month your contract went in force (contract date).

Can I change the date my Easy Pay payment is automatically withdrawn?

Depending on your current billing cycle, additional premium may be required to change your withdrawal date.

What if my account has insufficient funds at the time of an Easy Pay withdrawal?

We’ll automatically try to withdraw the payment again within three days. If the Easy Pay transaction is returned for a second time, due to non-sufficient funds (NSF) or any other reason, we’ll start the process of obtaining new bank information or changing your policy to quarterly billing. Failure to pay your Life policy premium can result in termination of coverage.

What if I no longer want to pay my premium through Easy Pay?

Please contact Grange Life Policyholder Services at (800) 399-3797 if you want to change your billing method from Easy Pay to one of our other payment options.
