Teresa Mason COLUMBUS, Ohio – Grange Insurance announced today the promotion of Theresa Mason to president of Grange Life Insurance Company. In her new role, Mason will be responsible for profitably growing Grange Life’s business and leading the organization’s operations, including product development and marketing. Grange Life Insurance, a wholly-owned subsidiary of the Grange Mutual Casualty Company, provides life insurance products through Grange Insurance’s independent agent partners.

Mason joined Grange Life in 2006 as the controller and was promoted to the life company’s assistant vice president, finance in 2009. She most recently served as assistant vice president, life marketing, strategy and analytics. Prior to Grange Life, she was an auditor with Ernst & Young and held other financial management roles within the accounting field. A certified public accountant with a Fellow, Life Management Institute designation, Mason earned her bachelor’s degree in accounting from John Carroll University in Cleveland.
Mason succeeds Michelle Benz, who was named chief sales marketing & strategy officer for the company’s property and casualty businesses in November and was serving as interim president of Grange Life until Mason’s promotion.
