Support for Illinois customers affected by recent storms

Due to severe weather in Illinois, the Illinois Department of Insurance issued Bulletin 25-13, Suspension of Cancellation, Non-renewal and Premium Payments, for those impacted counties of Alexander, Calhoun, Cass, Christian, Clinton, Cumberland, Douglas, Iroquois, Jackson, Jersey, Lawrence, Madison, Marion, Menard, Monroe, Morgan, Moultrie, Pike, Randolph, Richland, Sangamon, St. Clair, and Vermilion.

Grange has taken the following steps to ensure these policyholders do not suffer any further hardship:

  • Suspended policy cancellations until February 29, 2016
  • Suspended non-renewal notices until February 29, 2016
  • Trained claim associates to act according to Bulletin 25-13 by providing insureds extra time to submit proof of a loss and to repair damaged property
