To ensure our Ohio customers do not suffer further hardship, we’re offering support to those affected by the severe storms and tornadoes that began May 27, 2019, and lasted through May 28, 2019.
We will defer premium payments from 12:01 a.m. EDT on May 29, 2019, to 11:59 p.m. EDT on July 28, 2019, for clients in Greene, Mercer and Montgomery counties, as well as any counties that subsequently declare a state of emergency due to this severe weather.
In addition, any policy provision that is time-sensitive and due within this time frame, such as submitting claim information, may be extended 60 days at the request of the insured or claimant, but not past July 28, 2019.
