Columbus, OH – For more than 50 years, Grange Insurance Company has continued to be a financially strong company, according to A.M. Best, a global credit rating agency that specializes in the insurance industry. Grange was included in the annual A.M. Best’s Review ‘Standing the Test of Time’ list, which features property and casualty carriers that have maintained a Best’s Financial Strength Rating of “A” (Excellent) or higher for at least 50 years.
“We continue to build on our foundation of financial strength, even during these unprecedented times,” said Grange President and CEO John Ammendola. “Grange’s recognition by A.M. Best for ‘Standing the Test of Time’ reinforces our enduring sound financial management and our commitment to delivering on our promise of providing peace of mind and protection to our customers.”
A.M. Best reaffirmed Grange’s financial strength rating (FSR) of “A” (Excellent) with a stable outlook for all of its P&C companies in 2023. The FSR is the most important component of A.M. Best’s rating because it indicates a company’s ability to pay its policyholders’ claims.
A.M. Best determines its ratings through its Best's Credit Rating Methodology, which provides a comprehensive explanation of A.M. Best's rating process and contains the rating criteria employed in the rating process.
