Great customer service in time of need!!
We were a victim of Hurricane Helene in September of 2024. Grange Insurance was phenomenal in their service to us. Extremely quick response, great communication, and thorough review and assessment of our damages. Even pointing out items we didn’t notice. Completely exceeded our expectations!

Would Highly Recommend!
Grange helped me to replace a storefront and rear window in my rental storeroom that was badly damaged. Luckily, the cause was covered under the policy. The representative did everything they can to help things go as easily, quickly and smoothly as possible. I would highly recommend Grange to anyone!

Grange is fine my Agent is not
Grange has treated me well. My favorite agent passed away and the one that took over for him is totally inattentive. He never contacts me saying he has reviewed my policies, check if I am Over or under insured and when I call asking about my constant increases or for other information his assistant routinely tell me thats just insurance and it’s going up everywhere. I want a new agency but it takes time and research to figure out what to do to get one. I’ll get there.

Treat you like a number
Customer service unprofessional, lecturing, hang up on claimant when trying to make a claim after accident. Scraps vehicles without even seeing or inspecting them. Lies to customers to string them along. Payout less than vehicle worth. Very unhappy with this scam. The Terms & Conditions of this Review even require that "All "moral rights" that you may have in such content have been voluntarily waived by you'". That's the caliber of company we are dealing with here.

Incredibly poor customer service.
Had a tree fall into my home on Friday at 7pm. I called the claim reporting line. The agent made a claim with the wrong company, although I wouldn’t find this out until Monday morning when the other company called me , BEFORE ANYONE FROM GRANGE DID. Yes you read that correctly, a company that I don’t even have a policy with called me before my own company did.
Once we called our broker and customer service multiple times, the adjuster made things happen for us. But waiting 3 days with a 50 foot maple in your house and on your cars, with no idea how much we can spend for a hotel room or whatever we needed, is beyond frustrating and makes it hard to recommend anyone use grange. If we hadn’t called and remained persistent, I’m sure I’d still be waiting.

Very poor coverage
30 year customer that’s my fault. Should have switched years ago. Never missed any payments. Extremely few claims filed and when you do they don’t give you near enough to do the job. It’s sickening.

Grange works the way insurance should
I have never had such a pleasurable experience when dealing with an insurance company. The cost of coverage is reasonable, getting them paid is easy, and working with their representatives is actually a pleasure. I also thoroughly like being able to reach them by text, email, and phone. By text especially - it makes communicating a lot easier.
