Terrible Customer Service
I was hit by someone who is under this company and it was announced to be a total loss. I got an email from the total loss rep a week later than I should've because it was sitting in her outbox. I emailed her back the same day, and have emailed her multiple times and have tried her phone, and I've gotten nothing back. It has been 15 days. I have even emailed the company itself and have heard nothing back. I'm being charged for my car being on their lot and I don't even know how much I'm being charged. Extremely frustrating.

Worst insurance company ever...cut rate
Would cover me in a accident I have full coverage insurance for years through them..and because they wouldn't cover me I lost a 19 year job now I might lose everything because of them.if you are thinking about getting insurance from them don't do it....big mistake

Disrespectful
I have felt very disrespected by the claims representative.
I have countless emails that have gone had unanswered.

Losing my business
As soon as claim was settled my broker informed me that Grange was failing to renew to not fixing the roof . Although the claim was backdated from 7/17/23 as date of damage, the actual claim was not started until 12/3/23 . So am I to get a roof replaced in less than 30 days in winter ? I have been a Grange customer for many years for home and auto. I have 7 cars and a camper plus my house . The adjuster was great

Worst company to have it as Insurance Company
It’s is the worst company I have ever had as insurance company. They want to get money and rob people but when there is time to pay back for a claim they take months for a small payments and at end of the year they don’t want to renew the policy because you had a claim and they lost money for it. I don’t recommend this company to anyone.

“Prevailing rate” & customer service on their time
Something happened with Grange and I would now NOT recommend them anymore. Will tell my family to change too. Very slow customer service, my accident was a month ago and still have not received payment and believe nothing would be moving forward without my constant inquiry to the company. You can choose garage of choice, but of course you pay- grange never reached out to the garage to negotiate a fair price like they say they do. They say they pay the prevailing market rate, though unable to tell me the date prevailing rate was determined. As we know, the prevailing rate does not always mean the fair rate. I’ve been with grange for over 30 years, but once my car repair is complete, I’ll be looking for new insurance provider.

Storm Damage Hassle
My home roof was damaged in a storm on 8/24/23. The claim rep denied my claim, I had 2 other roofers claim storm damage, then Grange claim rep Darren J said "we'll cover your claim if you file vandalism charges on the contractors. I did file vandalism charges on the so-called engineer Grnge sent to my house. He was the only one that I had photographic proof of lifting my shingles, after charges were file Grange replaced my roof to protect their engineer from charges. I am still waiting for the interior damages to be inspected again and repaired. I would not recommend this company. Oh, by the way, this all happened after a substantial rate increase in August of this year. I plan to contact M Perry, board chair directly, as her position is pending this coming February.

Fantastic customer service
Kari was an absolute gem to work with. Having a claim is no fun but Kari really helped make us comfortable with the process. Her communication was clear, concise and the frequency was perfect.
If I ever have a claim again (hope not) I would want to work with Kari again.

Amberlynn went above and beyond for me and made sure all my needs were met. I have bad anxiety when it comes to handling business over the phone but this was the Best customer service I have ever experienced. She made me feel very comfortable!
