They not only paid the claims (both home and auto), they were very prompt in doing so. We have been blessed to have Grange for our insurance coverage for a long time, and that loyalty has bery much paid off.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Worst customer experience I’ve ever had I had grange insurance and was involved in a hit and run accident on highway where a dump truck hit into my entire right side of vehicle and sped off. I did get license plates and filed police report and some how the plates were bad and untraceable. With a little research I was able to track down vehicle online and get VIN # which I gave to my agent. My agent changed twice and after two months of doing nothing finally told me they could not get a claim against their insurance. I then proceed to fix my car asap that has been messed up for two months. I go to the rental that is covered 100% by insurance and when I arrive they tell me my agent booked a vehicle out of my policy range and would be additional cost. When I call my agent he laughs at my face and acts clueless and is unable to help me. He gives me his managers info and neither of his managers answer. When I call back and text my agent ten times I receive no response while being stuck at enterprise for over an hour. I finally just make the payment to enterprise and call the customer care line to have a manager call me asap. I finally receive a call the next day and they tell me they will get me into a vehicle in my range by Monday after the weekend and will review the call with my agent. It is now Thursday and I have called and left voicemails for manager again and have not received a single call or text from them. This has been the worst experience and I am over paying and being left out to dry by the entire grange team including their management. I have no idea how either of the agents I had have a job with this company and the management clearly has no idea how to take car if customers either. This company is a joke and I would never advise anyone to use them. As soon as any issue arises where you actually need to use your insurance, they will surely not take care of you in any way.

The will rob you. The company gave us 6k on our 21k roof due to “depreciation” that’s crap. We pay all this money for insurance and it’s a scam

As painless a process as you can have after a tree falls on your roof! The adjuster was great, and even the third party inspector that they sent out to look at the damage.

They immediately answered all questions. Even with a few hiccups with the tow truck they still let me know that they would be helping me out. My adjuster was top notch. Maddison was so helpful friendly and comforting. I will be a Grange customer for life

I have a perfect driving record as does my Wife, but because of their report our price is through the roof. I have contacted them to try to resolve but they have a difficult phone system to actually reach a person. I have also emailed them with no response.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Years ago, it was great not now Just received my renewal, house insurance went up $300(every year so far is gone up) an auto insurance went up a whopping $800!!! I had saved the money for the whole year to pay off my house and my auto insurance now I am $600 short. $600 is not easy to come by when you’re on social insecurity.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Genuinely, I can't wait to switch companies Had to file two claims this year. My first homeowners claim was only a couple years ago. First, a restoration specialist comes in and can't believe that no one but an adjuster came out for my furst claim because there was water damage and it should have been seen by a third party, which never happened. Then, while at work on a Wednesday, I get a call from my current adjuster. He leaves a message and says he'll try me again the next day. Thursday comes and nothing. Friday I call the adjuster back only to find out he's on vacation for over a week now. I get in touch with someone else and tell them what happened, he says he'll take care of it. I don't hear back from the company for days so I log into the app and see my claim is closed. I received no information or notifications whatsoever at this point. So I call in about it and the adjuster I talk to tells me he will have a supervisor reach out to me. I've been waiting a week for that phone call. At this pont, I honestly have no clue what this company is actually supposed to do for me because my understanding is they either haven't done it right or simply haven't done anything at all. As soon as I am able to, I will he switching companies because even at this point bad customer service would be better than no customer service. I will also repost this review anywhere I can find that will take it.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Worst Car Insurance Company for Claims We had to reach out to file a claim for our car. We knew full well the car would be totalled. We prepared for by starting to even look for another car. Grange's total loss department was ridiculous to say the least. The settlement they offered was ridiculously low fir our car. We had to fight with them over the value even when they sent us their comparables showing the exact same car as ours valued $2,000 more than our car (exact same mileage and features). When we questioned them they said they adjusted our car because it was wrecked. It took us well over a month to settle with them! Then they never removed the car from our insurance!!!! It's been 2 months now and we are still trying to get our policy adjusted to remove the car we no longer have! Like that should be done as soon as they took ownership of the vehicle!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Claim in process - Very slow and poor so far I had a 2020 Ford Explorer with 31k miles, and for some unknown reason the engine caught on fire. Called Grange and set it up to be put on a flat bed. A few days later I met th to driver to give him a key, and discovered the hood would now not open. Most likely due to the fir/heat damage. When I talked to my agent handling the claimI relayed this info as well. I was asked about needing a rental, and I said no at that time. My fiance and I could manage with her vehicle for now. He said to just let him know at any point and he would arrange one. I was told a relative short tim frame and the car would be looked at. This time frame kept getting the extended. After several weeks someone went to look at the car, only to find that he could not get th good open. So, another week or so goes by getting it to a dealership and getting the hood open. Tells me when it'll be looked at, which yet again did not happen when stated. At this point a month+ has gon by, and now I do need a vehicle. My fiance and I were getting married, and she took vacation th following week. So, I left a message regarding needing a vehicle. I did not get a return phon call, so I called and left another message. Again, no return call and left a third message. This was over a 5 day period. Her car is not one we would take on an extended trip, so basically and plans for honeymoon doing that got scratched. When I die finally hear from the person assigned to my claim, I explained how it would have been nice to get a rental and not have to scrap any existing plans. I got no response to the rental at all. Just an update about the car finally being looked at over a month later. A couple days later I was told that the car is totaled, as we expected. It just took over a month to get to this point, and now is being passed to someone else for the total loss. Was told I may hear from them that day, but definitely the next. Well, as it seems to be par for the coarse with everything so far, I have not received a call yet. Maybe tomorrow, but I'm not holding my breath. 5 weeks to get just this far, cancel any plans of honeymoon because I couldn't get a rental, which is covered by the plan that I pay for mind you. Hopefully the remainder goes better, but as of now I just very well may be switching my auto and homeowners back to State Farm.
