Insurance confidence
Insurance is always a product that one cannot see until you are in dire need. That being said, you often lean towards the least expensive. However, I never questioned the product I was given by my agent. I’ve had Grange before and when she recommended it,I was fine. Grange’s platform is straight forward. I have both home and auto through Grange. Nice little discount for carrying both!

storm damage? no problem with grange
had roof leak problems after a bad storm in 2022 and set up for a grange adjuster or claims guy not sure the title. brian was out in a few days and had my roof issues taken care of within a week.
great to have a good insurance company to back me up when things go bad.

Adjusters should look at everything
The adjuster that came out only looked at the roof on the house and not the garages, which also needed replaced. After additional requests it was denied.

Quick Claim Settlement
The timeline for my homeowner’s insurance claim was quicker than was anticipated at every step of the way. I appreciated the different ways I was given to communicate with my Grange representative. I liked having options as to how I received the payments for my claim. I had a great experience.

There For Me
Grange was there for me when my picture window was shot at four times. They gave me a company to call.to get the window glasses replace. The company did an outstanding job. I thank Grange for all there help in my time of need.

Roadside Assistance Service
My car unexpectedly broke down while driving today. Was able to roll to a gas station. Called Roadside Assistance to get a tow to find out, I first waited on the phone to only get hung up on, then I call back and had to wait another 30 mins to reach a CSR. They then took my info and told me they would call me back with towing instructions and here I am now over 3.5 hrs later will still no tow truck. This is insane, what if I was stranded outside in the cold (I live in Ohio)? Luckily, I was able to get a ride home to wait. But now I am still waiting and it's now nighttime and still no call back with tow info. Very, very frustrated and disappointed for a service I pay for that is meant for emergencies and here I am 4 hours later and still waiting for a tow.....

Terrible customer service
My son was hit by one of your insured motorist literally two months ago. Not only was our rental car taken away weeks ago we have yet to see our settlement check from Granger. Also, we have called, emailed, left voice messages sometimes we get a response but most times not. Terrible company to deal with!!

WORST EXPERINCE POSSIBLE
I am not a customer of grange one of their insures hit me last week and totaled my vehicle its EXTREMLY IMPOSSIBLE to get a hold of anyone they purposely ignore you after leaving countless messages, emails and voicemails. loosing myvehicle i also lost my job my boyfreind lost his as well because we are out of a vehicle and these people do not make it easy for you to stay patient. all I ask for is a phone call and they don't even do that I was injured in the accident and couldn't even hold my daughter for 3 days because of it and they can't even have an adjustor or supervisor answer my calls absolutely the worst insurance company ever

Poor customer service
After getting a quote and purchasing insurance, I submitted my new driver’s grades and driver’s training certificate for discount. Not only did I not get a discount, but also it was determined that the original quote was incorrect and I would be charged significantly more, even when my agent submitted evidence if confirmation. On top of that, even when the policy was cancelled, Grange automatically withdrew funds from my account the following month, and would not refund their mistake (again) for 15 days.

Horrible Experience
I had grange insurance for two years on my property. They were alright as in i had to do nothing to pay them until i went to sell the property they had informed me everything would be handled through my loan escrow except for the fact that it was not here we are one year later and i receive a call that i have had an outstanding balance for one year and it was about to go to collections. When the first notice you get is that a balance is going to collections when grange specifically said they would handle everything with my loan company is ridiculous i will never be using grange insurance again.

Very Very bad experience
Recently purchased a home and about a month after moving in Grange sent out an inspector to take pictures and do a quick inspection. (The woman spent an attire 5 minutes) We were told there where loose shingles at the ridge of the roof, that the porch was above 36 inches and required a handrail and that there was peeling paint. We were also told we had 10 days to correct all the issues. Living in Ohio, November doesn't give many warm weather days to make these repairs-Which we were told by Grange they didn't care-it was our problem (Wonder how quick they would have covered a claim for someone slipping and falling off an icy roof?)We had already made plans to have the whole house vinyl sided in the spring-which again Grange didn't care - demanding immediate repair- which we are, slowly making as weather willing. Repairs are temporary till we have it sided next spring. After measuring the porch, ourselves, it was only 21 inches high and to code and summited pictures, AGAIN - Grange did not care and demanded a rail-which we followed through and did install one. They wanted shingles nailed down along the ridge of the roof- which we could not do because there is a vent that runs the ridge. That cannot be covered up-AGAIN- Grange demanded a fix- We know covering up a vent would prevent air flow into the attic- they should know that. We just received a letter of termination of our policies do to refusing to comply- not true- we tried our best to comply, Grange where the ones refusing to work with us. Grange could have called us directly if they had questions. They could have also done their inspection before the house closed as we could have had the seller make repairs (during warm weather) Our agent was not allowed to provided pictures or specifics of their demands on repairs. I have never been treated so poorly by an insurance company before. Thankfully our agent immediately found us a better insurance company. Who in the world would want to have coverage with a company who thinks so little of their customers.

Tony D handed my roofing claim quick and easy
My contractor found wind/hail damage to my roof. Tony D was so pleasant to work with every step in the process. He was transparent and open to all questions my family had or maybe will have until the replacement is complete. He made us feel appreciated to be Grange customers.

Terrible
Refused to cover us for our housing Insurance because of my lab/German shepherd mix.. who's also an emotional support dog. So if you have any type of dog like that, don't bother to go through this company.
