Columbus, OH — Grange Insurance was honored with the Corporate Citizenship Award by Columbus Business First for its work providing relief and recovery to Central Ohio communities impacted by COVID-19.
The Corporate Citizenship Award program, which was launched in 2018 to replace the Corporate Caring Awards, is meant to quantify and celebrate the giving done by Central Ohio companies and their employees. Grange was recognized in the extra-large workplace category.
"With the COVID-19 pandemic, our customers and communities have faced unprecedented challenges," said Grange Insurance EVP, Chief Operations Officer Doreen DeLaney Crawley. "Helping during life's unexpected events is what we do, and the commitments we've made since 2020 to help those impacted most are an extension of our mission."

Since 2020, Grange Insurance and its associates will have provided nearly $4 million in financial support to 100+ nonprofit organizations through its Grange Insurance Gives Foundation. When the pandemic hit, Grange recognized the critical need to act with fierce urgency to support nonprofit partners and the people and communities hit hardest by the impacts of COVID-19.
Grange continues to see incredible generosity from its associates. From sewing masks and delivering food to essential workers to donating school supplies and volunteering at food pantries, they continue to live by the company's core value of Doing the Right Thing. Associates' generosity has continued through the Grange Enterprise Gives workplace campaign, resulting in back-to-back banner years in 2020 and 2021.
