Columbus, OH — Damon Porter, VP, Chief Human Resources Officer at Grange Insurance, has been honored with an HR Impact Award, presented by Columbus Business First.
The inaugural HR Impact awards program recognizes distinguished HR leaders who build and nurture the talent within their organization and have helped elevate companies to the top of their industries. Porter is being recognized along with 19 other honorees at an awards gala on Nov. 3 at the Hyatt Regency downtown.

Porter has been part of Grange since 2018 and previously held leadership roles at Erie Insurance and Duke Energy. A native of Louisville, Kentucky, Porter earned an MBA from the University of Kentucky, where he also graduated magna cum laude with a bachelor degree in business management and marketing. He later completed the executive strategic leadership program at the University of North Carolina's Kenan-Flagler School of Business. He's also a member of the Center for Human Resources at the University of Pennsylvania's Wharton School of Business.
