Rated 1 out of 5 by from An absolute nightmare of a claims process My wife was in an accident that was not her fault in July 2025. It was a serious accident that resulted in injury and our car being deemed a total loss. There isn't enough space here to describe the nightmare of a claims process and the difficulty getting resolution from Grange Insurance. It took almost 6 months to get any kind of resolution and every step of the process was painful. Grange dragged their feet the entire time and stalled as long as they could to pay out. We weren't looking for an unreasonable settlement, only a fair price for our vehicle and our related medical bills to be covered. The claims adjuster was rude, and flat out offensive at times. This was an accident that we were not at fault, but the entire time we were treated like it was and our valid questions and concerns were mostly dismissed. I considered contacting a lawyer but decided it wasn't worth the headache and expense. I wouldn't recommend Grange insurance to anyone.

Have had no problems with customer service or paying my auto insurance except when I made an error which Grange notified me of in a timely manner so I could resubmit my payment. Home insurance is paid through my mortgage and that has always gone smoothly.

Grange is my carrier and handle my vehicle etc… the communication has been terrible and I got lowballed on the actual cash value of my vehicle. I’ve never had an accident and this one wasn’t my fault - you’d think I’m the type of guy the wanna keep on their books. I will be going in a different direction now. I’m still trying to get paid btw - over a month later.
